A 12 year old Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from BenRiach, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in three types of cask: sherry, bourbon and port.
The master blender describes the sherry-rich maturation as adding depth and layers of dark berry fruit, and sees the whisky as capturing BenRiach in autumn.
The nose offers honey, cocoa and woodland berries. The palate is free of peat smoke, with maraschino cherry, orange, hazelnuts, raisins and spiced mocha.
