This is an 11-year-old single cask Benrinnes, distilled in May 2009 and finished in a Madeira cask, number 102169. It was bottled in September 2020 at 50.4% for Meadowside Blending's The Maltman range, and 304 bottles were released.
Benrinnes was founded by Peter McKenzie in 1826. A flood destroyed the original buildings in 1829, and a large fire at the end of the 19th century led to a rebuild that modernised the process and brought in electricity.
