This is a 10 year old Speyside single malt from Benromach, distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2024 at 46%. A limited edition, it was matured in virgin oak casks made specially for this release and lightly charred. It is non-chill-filtered and free of added colouring, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers dried banana, fresh citrus and a hint of caramel, with Seville orange peel, butterscotch and a little smoke in the background. The palate is creamy, with sweet butterscotch and fruit, and light smoke coming through.
