Benromach 10 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Benromach distillery in Speyside, in a boxed 70cl bottle. It spends ten years in a mix of American ex-bourbon oak and Spanish sherry casks.
It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The nose brings ripe fruit and malt with sweet vanilla and subtle spice. On the palate come dark chocolate, cinnamon and baked apple, with a light smokiness from lightly peated barley. The finish is long, with echoes of oak and a slight trace of peat.
