Benromach 10 Year Old is a single malt from Benromach Distillery in Forres, Speyside, bottled at 43% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The distillery is owned by Gordon & MacPhail.
It is matured for ten years exclusively in first-fill sherry and bourbon casks. The malt is made from locally grown Scottish barley, lightly peated, and bottled with natural colour.
The nose has green apple and pear, dark honey, soft vanilla and gentle smoke. On the palate come malted cereal, stewed fruit, warm toffee and a hint of black cherry, and the full-bodied finish has malted cereal and soft smoke.
