Benromach 15 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, matured for 15 years and bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Benromach takes its cue from the older Speyside style, when a light touch of peat smoke was far more common in the region. Here that gentle smoke sits alongside fruit, malt and oak rather than leading them.
The tasting notes run to rich dried fruit, ripe orchard fruit, dark chocolate, sweet malt, caramel, toffee, orange peel, cinnamon and mature oak, with soft peat smoke and a long, rich finish.
