A 15 year old single malt from Benromach in Speyside, described as the older sibling of the 10 year old, with a little more sherry influence. It is made in the old Speyside style, which gives slightly more smoke than the region usually suggests, and it is matured mainly in sherry casks.
The colour is warm copper. The nose offers Christmas cake, cocoa, ginger biscuits and charcoal. On the palate there are many layers of Christmas spices and mandarin, a breath of menthol, honey and beeswax.
