This is a cask strength single malt from Benromach, distilled on 14 May 1981 and bottled in August 2006 at 54.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It spent 25 years in refill sherry butts.
The spirit was laid down shortly before the distillery was mothballed, and it was bottled by Gordon & MacPhail, who had by then become the distillery's new owners.
