Benromach 2009 Super Tuscan Wine Cask is a whisky distilled in 2009 and finished in casks that previously held Super Tuscan wines, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose balances malt with the influence of the wine: ripe red fruit, light spice, a fine tannic thread, warm vanilla and gentle earthy notes. The palate is round and clean, with measured warmth, freshness and a slight savoury note, leading to a lasting finish.
