Benromach 21 Year Old is a Speyside single malt matured entirely in first fill oak casks kept in traditional dunnage warehouses. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle with no added colour.
The distillery was founded in 1898 in Forres and has been run by a dedicated team since 1998. It works in an older Speyside style, with long fermentation times and Highland peat.
The nose is fresh Seville oranges with sweet baked apple and a subtle spice. The palate is full and soft, balancing sweetness, spice and light smoke. The finish is long and mild, with a gentle smoky trail.
