A 21-year-old single malt from Benromach, a Speyside distillery in Scotland. It is bottled without chill filtration, and comes in a 70cl bottle with a box.
The nose runs from malt and cereal to ripe plums and oranges, with a little lightly smoky peat, cinnamon and nutmeg. The palate is rich and oily, with dark chocolate, vanilla and toffee alongside leather and tobacco. The finish is long and warm, and the smoky notes return at the end.
