Benromach Cask No.1 20th Anniversary is a single cask Speyside single malt, marking twenty years since Benromach's return. It was distilled on 21 August 1998, matured in a first-fill sherry butt and bottled in 2018 at 60.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The outturn was 575 bottles, presented in a wooden and copper box.
The nose is baked apple, juicy pear and zesty orange, with warm nutmeg, a hint of clove and toasted oak. The palate brings orange marmalade, lemon peel, sweet honey and creamy custard in a silky texture. The finish is long, with spiced walnut and a whisper of caramel.
