This is a single cask Benromach from the London Bartender Edition, matured in a first-fill sherry hogshead and bottled at 59% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The release came to 201 bottles.
The nose is sweet and fruity, with classic rich sherry cask aromas, damson, milk chocolate, raisins, Turkish delight, ground coffee, strawberries and candied orange peel. The palate opens on creamy caramel and honey, then dark forest fruits, truffles, strawberry and black pepper, with honeycomb, treacle toffee and a long, rich finish.
