Benromach Virgin Air Dried Oak is a Speyside single malt distilled in 2012, in a 70cl boxed bottle. It was matured in virgin oak that had been air dried, so no earlier wine or spirit has touched the wood.
The nose has cinnamon and vanilla, with honey and dried fruit, particularly almonds and nutmeg. The palate brings berries, toasted malt and dark chocolate. The finish is long, with sweet spices and a light smokiness.
