Bernheim – Original Wheat Whiskey 20th Anniversary Limited Edition (75cl, 57.5%)

This is a Kentucky straight wheat whiskey from the Bernheim Distillery, released in 2026 to mark twenty years since Bernheim Original first appeared in 2005. It is a selection of barrels aged 10 years and bottled at 57.5% ABV, in a commemorative bottle with a copper plate on the front. The mash bill is 51% wheat, 37% corn and 12% malted barley, and the whiskey was aged in Bardstown, Kentucky. Compared with the standard Bernheim Original, it has three more years in the rickhouse and a higher bottling strength. The nose is honeyed wheat, vanilla custard, toasted oak and light cinnamon. On the palate it is rich and warming, with caramel, wheat bread, baking spice and dried fruit, followed by a long finish of oak, vanilla and lingering warmth.
