A single cask Demerara rum, distilled at Diamond Distillery in Guyana and aged for 10 years. It was bottled from Cask No. 56 at 46% in a 70cl bottle, with an outturn of 314 bottles.
The nose is aromatic, with ripe banana, liquorice and black tea alongside tobacco, vanilla, gentle wood spice and a fresh menthol note. The palate is rich and layered, with tobacco and liquorice leading into cacao, peppermint, tropical fruit, ginger, nutmeg and cardamom.
The finish is long and warming, with oak, mint, spice and dark liquorice.
