Classic Reserve is an Irish single malt whiskey bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd at 44.2% ABV. It was distilled and matured at the Great Northern Distillery in Dundalk and is made entirely from malted barley.
The spirit was selected for its grassy, herbaceous character, then matured in oak casks to gain depth and softness while keeping its fresh style.
The nose has grassy herbs, custard cream, lime and green apple. The palate is creamy and oily, with vanilla, soft orchard fruit and sweet malt, balanced by apple acidity and citrus. The finish is gently lingering, with apple, citrus zest and vanilla.
