This is Cutty Sark blended Scotch whisky from the 1970s, bottled at 43% in a 94.6cl bottle. Most of the blend is grain whisky, from North British and Invergordon, joined by around 40 single malts that include Highland Park, Glenrothes, Macallan and Bunnahabhain. Berry Bros. & Rudd decided to create the brand on 23 March 1923, naming it after the famous clipper ship. It was a pale blend with delicate, soft flavours. The clipper on the label is a drawing by the Swedish painter Carl Georg August Wallin, used by the brand since 1955.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
