A twelve year old blended Scotch whisky from Cutty Sark, created by the wine merchants Berry Brothers & Rudd. This bottle dates from the 1980s and is in a 100cl size at 43% ABV. The brand was created in 1923 and takes its name from the merchant ship Cutty Sark, built in 1869, which was itself named after a reference in Robert Burns's 1791 poem Tam o'Shanter. The lighter style was made for the American market, where Cutty Sark became the first Scotch whisky to sell a million cases. Its yellow label began as a printer's error.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
