Bertani Le Quaiare 2021 Lugana DOC (75cl, 12.5%)

Le Quaiare is a white Lugana from Bertani, made entirely from Turbiana, also known as Trebbiano di Lugana, in the Veneto. The grapes are picked around the middle of September and gently pressed. The must ferments in stainless steel at 14 to 16°C, and the wine rests in steel for three months. It is pale straw with faint green reflections. The nose combines yellow and white-fleshed fruit with elegant floral notes. The palate is light-bodied and clean, with defined mineral notes, and the fruit returns on a persistent finish.
