Bib & Tucker 6 Year Gold Roast is a small-batch American straight bourbon in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 46% and non-chill-filtered. It is aged for at least six years in Number 1 char American white oak barrels, from a mash bill of 70% corn, 26% rye and 4% malted barley.
It is made using both pot and column distillation and has a light infusion of roasted coffee beans. It belongs to the Classic Six series.
The nose offers vanilla, sweet hay, toasted sandalwood and leather, with mace and chestnut. The palate brings pecan pie, caramel, dried apricot, rye spice and ginger, and the long finish has chestnut, grilled corn, baking spices and smoky oak.
