Bib & Tucker 6 Year Old Double Char Bourbon

Bib & Tucker Double Char is a bourbon aged twice. It spends six years in new white American oak in the hills of Tennessee, then a minimum of five months in a second new barrel that is heavily charred and smoked. The idea draws on the turn of the century, when food was cooked over an open flame. The nose has a touch of smoke, toasted oak, dulce de leche, cinnamon and clove. The palate shows vanilla and sugar maple wrapped in white smoke, with hints of sweet corn and toasted cinnamon. The finish is medium to long, with oak, white smoke and vanilla.
