Big Peat 12 Years Old is a small batch Islay blended malt Scotch whisky from Douglas Laing, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The blend is made only from single malts distilled on Islay. Caol Ila adds sweetness, Bowmore balance, Ardbeg a medicinal, earthy quality and Port Ellen a degree of elegance.
It forms part of the Remarkable Regional Malts range.
