Big Peat is a blended malt Scotch whisky from Islay, made by Douglas Laing from four Islay distilleries: Caol Ila, Bowmore, Ardbeg and Port Ellen. Caol Ila adds sweetness, Bowmore balance, Ardbeg medicinal and mineral notes, and Port Ellen elegance. Peat smoke, bonfire ash, coal dust and tar run through it. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with no colour added and no chill-filtration.
