Big Peat is a small batch Islay blended malt Scotch whisky from Douglas Laing, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle without chill filtration. Every malt in the vatting comes from Islay, and the label names Ardbeg, Caol Ila, Bowmore and Port Ellen. Caol Ila brings sweetness, Bowmore balance, Ardbeg a medicinal, earthy edge and Port Ellen a touch of elegance. Big Peat is part of the Remarkable Regional Malts range.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
