Big Peat Red Wine Cask Finish is an Islay blended malt Scotch whisky from Douglas Laing, bottled at 51% in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition marking 15 years of Big Peat, which was established in 2009.
The whisky is mostly finished in red wine casks. It is non-chill filtered and has no colouring added.
Big Peat is a blend of Islay single malts alone. Caol Ila adds sweetness, Bowmore balance, Ardbeg a medicinal, earthy quality and Port Ellen a degree of elegance.
