Big Peat The Winter Edition is an Islay blended malt from Douglas Laing, finished in Madeira wine casks. It is a limited edition in a 70cl bottle, bottled at a cask strength of 53.6%, with no colouring and no chill-filtration.
The blend is made only from single malts of Islay. Caol Ila brings sweetness, Bowmore balance, Ardbeg a medicinal, earthy quality and Port Ellen a degree of elegance.
