Big Peat Thropaigeach Edition is a blended malt from Douglas Laing, made for Feis Ile 2024 and bottled that year at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition that brings together malts from several Scottish distilleries.
The whisky was finished in Caribbean rum casks. It is bottled without added colouring and without chill-filtration.
Fruity sweetness and spicy notes are described alongside peat smoke and the maritime character of Islay.
