Bikoku is a Japanese malt whisky made by Nirasaki Distillery in Yamanashi, from malted barley matured in oak barrels. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The barrel ageing gives it depth and a bittersweet edge.
The notes run to roasted nuts, creamy vanilla and gentle baking spice, with hints of orchard fruit and toasted malt.
