Bimber Ex-Port Cask France Edition is a single cask single malt from the Bimber distillery in London, bottled at 58.9% ABV.
The whisky matured in a former Ruby Port cask. Ruby Port is a red wine with a deep colour and plenty of red-fruit aroma, and the cask is said to bring a rich, grape-like character to Bimber's own fruity malt. Bimber grows all of its barley on its farm, malts it on the floor and distils in small, direct-fired copper stills.
It is described as aromatic and shimmering, with berries, spice and vanilla.
