This is a single cask single malt from Bimber Distillery in London, bottled at cask strength as part of the Shoulders of Giants 2025 series. It matured entirely in a hand-picked Oloroso sherry cask, number 446, and 297 bottles were filled.
The series pays tribute to notable figures, and this release carries the Nicolaus name. The whisky has no added colouring and is not chill-filtered.
On the nose it shows dark fruit, nuts, spice and oak. A deep sweetness runs through the palate, which has a complex structure.
