Bimber – The 1st Peated is a whisky from Bimber (London). Bottled at 54.1% ABV, 70cl. Proudly celebrating his family’s roots in moonshine production - and even using the Polish word for moonshine, ‘Bimber’ - Dariusz Plazewski set up his London-based distillery in 2015 with Ewelina Chruszczyk after emigrating from Poland. Bimber is one of only a handful of working distilleries in London and of even fewer in the whisky-making industry. They pride themselves on a natural environment using their own designed wooden washbacks which are left a little dirty so that the bacteria and yeast left behind enhances the next spirit. The 1st Peated has been crated from a marriage of four heavily peated American oak ex-bourbon casks, drawn from our earlies fully peated distillation in May 2019. Please note some wax seals are prone to cracking in varying temperatures and transport conditions, therefore - as stated in our terms and conditions - we do not accept liability should these seals be found to show signs of splitting on delivery.
