Agamemnon's Stash is a six year old single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon, distilled at Willett Distillery and bottled by Binder's Stash in a 750ml bottle. It is a joint selection with Sip Whiskey.
It is bottled at barrel strength, 127.4 proof (63.7%), without dilution or chill filtration. The mash bill is 72% corn, 13% rye and 15% malted barley. The label is named after Agamemnon, king of Mycenae and commander of the Greek forces in the Odyssey and the Iliad.
The nose offers caramel, cherry pie, charred oak, vanilla and hints of tobacco. The palate is thick and oily, with brown sugar, dark fruit, baking spices and a sweet, tea-like herbal note, and the finish is very long and warming.
