Biondi Pianta Etna Bianco

A white wine from Biondi, grown on the volcanic slopes of Etna in Sicily. It is produced mainly from Carricante, with a small addition of other native varieties. The wine is pale straw yellow with greenish reflections. On the nose it offers white flowers, green apple and a light flinty note typical of volcanic soils. On the palate it is fresh, with good acidity and flavours of citrus, white peach and aromatic herbs, leading to a clean, stimulating finish. It suits fish, seafood, fresh cheeses, light risottos and grilled vegetables.
