Bird Dog Blackberry is a flavoured whiskey in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. It pairs a Kentucky whiskey base, aged in oak, with natural blackberry flavour, which is added after ageing. It comes from Western Spirits Beverage Company in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
The nose is ripe blackberry and dark fruit over vanilla and light oak. The palate is juicy and sweet, with berry compote notes balanced by caramel from the whiskey base. The finish is smooth, with lingering berry sweetness.
