Bird Dog Blackberry is a flavoured whiskey made with Kentucky bourbon as its base, bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Natural blackberry flavouring is infused into the spirit.
It is produced by Western Spirits Beverage Company in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and was the first expression in the brand's flavoured range.
Ripe blackberry leads the nose, with bourbon warmth, caramel and a little vanilla. The palate is smooth, with blackberry sweetness followed by honey, vanilla, caramel and a hint of oak. The finish is slightly sweet and warming, with oak and a touch of honey.
