Bird Dog Gingerbread Flavored Whiskey (75cl, 35%)

A seasonal flavoured whiskey from Bird Dog, made by blending Kentucky whiskey with gingerbread cookie flavours. It is bottled at 35% ABV and is golden-reddish amber in the glass. The gingerbread character sits over the bourbon-style notes of vanilla and oak that come from the whiskey base. It is released for the holiday season. The nose is gently sweet with a mild bourbon undertone, along with gingerbread, cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate there is ginger, cinnamon and baking spice, then vanilla and oak, with rich ginger spice and brown sugar. The finish is smooth and warm, with lingering holiday spice.
