Bird Dog Peanut Butter is a flavoured whiskey from Western Spirits Beverage Company of Bowling Green, Kentucky. It is bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle.
The base is a bourbon made from corn, malted barley and rye, aged in white oak, into which real peanuts are infused before bottling.
The nose is roasted peanut and creamy nuttiness over caramel and vanilla from the bourbon. The palate is rich and dessert-like, with peanut butter up front and sweet oak beneath. The finish is smooth, lingering and nutty.
