Black Bottle Island Smoke Experiment #2 is a single malt Scotch bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle. Its colour is a golden red. Peat smoke sits at the centre of the nose, alongside salted caramel and toasted wood, a sweet, sharp and slightly peppery note of burnt sugar, dried cherries, damp autumn leaves and a touch of cinnamon. The palate brings peat, aniseed and cereal with dried, salty seaweed and wood smoke, while cardamom and pepper are balanced by vanilla sweetness. The finish is long, with salty air and caramel.
