Black Bull 12 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky (70cl, 50%)

Black Bull 12 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky, a marriage of malt and grain bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured for 12 years in refill ex-bourbon American oak hogsheads and then finished in ex-Oloroso European butts, which bring a nutty sherry influence alongside the chocolate character of the Black Bull style. The nose is full of sherry, red fruits, cherries and toffee, with a hint of vanilla and lemon sherbet. On the palate come creamy chocolate, fruit, honey, apple and nuttiness. The finish is long and silky, with buttery toffee.
