Black Bull 18 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky from Duncan Taylor of Huntly, Aberdeenshire, made in collaboration with the golfer Sir Nick Faldo for his Signature Collection. It is bottled at 50% ABV without chill filtration.
The blend is half single malt and half single grain whisky, all aged for at least 18 years in selected oak casks. The Black Bull brand was first created in 1864.
The nose brings dark cherries, dried fruit, fruitcake and vanilla, with toasted oak, orange peel and gentle baking spices. The palate is full and velvety, with caramelised apples, raisins, dark chocolate and honey. The finish is long and warm, with dried fruit, sweet malt and gentle wood spice.
