Black Bull Kyloe Sherry Finish (50%)

Black Bull is a brand of the independent bottler Duncan Taylor, and Kyloe is a blend of 50% malt and 50% grain whisky. It is bottled at 50% ABV, without chill-filtering and without added colour. The fruit character comes from maturation in ex-Pedro Ximénez and ex-Oloroso sherry casks. The name refers to a Highland cattle breed known for its toughness. The nose is full and rich, with candied fruit, orange zest, demerara sugar and oak. On the palate dark and light fruit mingle with hazelnuts, chocolate and malted grain. The finish is long, with fading fruit, vanilla and toasted oak.
