Black Maple Hill 11 Year is a small batch Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 47.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made from long-aged Kentucky stocks and forms part of the brand's reintroduction by Rare Character Whiskey Co.
The nose opens with dark caramel, vanilla bean and toasted oak, with brown sugar, citrus peel, dried cherry and leather. On the palate come toffee, vanilla and seasoned oak, layered with maple, dried fruit, cinnamon, cocoa, orange zest and a soft rye spice. The finish is long and balanced, with caramel, oak, spice and leather.
