Black Maple Hill 18 Year Cask R66 Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Rye (75cl)

Black Maple Hill 18 Year Old is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey, bottled from a single barrel, cask R66, at cask strength in a 75cl bottle. Eighteen years in the barrel is a long time for an American rye, and because the bottling comes from one identified cask, it reflects that barrel alone. The nose brings dried fruit, aged oak, leather and warm rye spice. On the palate the rye is rich and complex, with deep oak, dried fruit and leather, and the finish is very long, with warm spice and dried fruit.
