Black Maple Hill 21 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon Gold Wax (75cl)

Black Maple Hill 21 Year Old is a single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon in a 75cl bottle, sealed with gold wax. It was selected and bottled by Julian Van Winkle III, grandson of Pappy Van Winkle, for the Black Maple Hill label. The label does not distil its own whiskey. It was built on Van Winkle's personal barrel selection, drawing on aged Kentucky stocks that include barrels from Bardstown operations. The nose is caramel, vanilla and oak. On the palate the same three come together with subtle hints of spice, and the finish is long and smooth.
