Black Maple Hill 23 Year Old is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey, bottled as a single barrel at 47.5% ABV (95 proof) in a 750ml bottle. Black Maple Hill is a sourced label: the barrels were selected and bottled by Julian Van Winkle III from Kentucky distilleries, for the label under CVI Brands.
The nose is elegant and bright, with toasty oak and sweet dried fruit. The palate is complex and smooth, with more toasty oak and dried fruit. The finish is long, with spice and fruit unfolding.
