Black Maple Hill Small Batch is a Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 47.5% in a 75cl bottle. It is batched from selected barrels and bottled without chill filtration.
The nose offers warm caramel and toasted oak, with vanilla bean, dried dark fruit and a little clove and cinnamon. The palate is rich and viscous, with brown sugar and butterscotch, then toasted grain, charred oak and ripe stone fruit. The finish is long and warming, with dark toffee, seasoned oak and a faint peppery spice.
