Black Ram is a Bulgarian blended whisky made by Vinprom Peshtera and bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle.
The blend uses imported malt and grain distillates, each matured for at least 12 years before blending. The finished blend then spends three years in oak casks and is married with soft mountain water from the Peshtera region.
The nose is warm vanilla and toasted cereal with toffee and a little citrus. The palate is soft and gently sweet, with caramel, fresh citrus, cocoa and light roasted coffee. The finish carries oak and toffee, with a gentle dryness from the wood.
