Black Saddle 12 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 45% ABV in a 75cl bottle by Frank-Lin Distillers in California.
The whiskey spent twelve years in new charred American oak. It won Double Gold and Best Small Batch Bourbon at the 2014 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Rich amber in colour, it has spicy nougat, crème brûlée and hard candy on the nose. The palate brings pepper spice, toasted cinnamon and hints of vanilla.
