A bottle of Black & White blended Scotch whisky from the 1970s, bottled by James Buchanan and Co. at 70° proof (40%) in a 26 2/3 fl oz bottle. The brand was first produced by James Buchanan & Co, the makers of Buchanan's. It began as House of Commons, and the Black and White nickname came from its use of those two colours. Shortly before the turn of the 20th century the name was changed and the black and white dog motif was created. This bottle has no box, and the labels show some light weathering.
